The Wooden Spoon Gift Tags
Over the holidays, we made some of these gift tags from wooden spoons. You get about 100 spoons in a package for just a few bucks so you stamp out a bunch for pennines and they are super cool on a package.
Originally, I saw a version of these somewhere online but I can’t seem to find them now. We stamped them using letter stamps like from here (scroll down to the bottom of the page) and then drilled a hole in the top and thread some yarn through them.
Now, you need to use ink that is designed for stamping on wood. So the ink sits on top of the wood and gives a nice clear edge like this:
Otherwise, you will get this:
The Ink, Fabric + Twill Tape Ink set in the shop is actually what I used and works on fabric, wood + paper! I love them.
Get to giving.
