I print out so many recipes from the internet for things and often I will print out a few for the same recipe. And then I’ll end up liking the frosting from this recipe but prefer the cake from another recipe better. Or I like this one recipe but I didn’t like it with the bell peppers. At first, I thought I could remember all the changes I wanted to make the next time I made something but you know what? I can’t. I need help. Enter my Recipe Review Post-it Pads that I had printed up recently.
I ordered a small batch of these pads this first go round so I could see if I really liked them. You fill them out and then since they are post-it notes, you just stick them on your recipe so you remember if you liked it and what you did or did not dig about it. My mother always wrote her notes in her cookbooks but I can’t bring myself to do it so this was my alternative.
This stack is my holiday cards for friends + family. Last year, I never got a card out and I felt guilty and plus I really like coming up with a card design so I was a bit bummed. This is not exactly a folded card, but mine usually aren’t. Plus, it’s just nice to send a small gift to people around the holidays and while I was going for 100% made by me this year for all gifts, these will have to work as 100% designed + packaged by me.
The envelopes for the holiday cards have this little sticker on the back that I made using a craft punch I bought here on Etsy. (Though there are not anymore for sale.) I used full-sheet adhesive labels to make the stickers. Could that smile be any sweeter?
