Triangles
I’m riding on a triangle train and fabric triangles turned up this week. Triangles are so cool to me. I have a million projects I want to do with them. I keep seeing them everywhere, too. Start looking for them and you’ll be convinced that triangles are the new woodland, too.

This block was made by my neighbor friend and given to me. I am so crazy in love with it. I think I will use it as a appliqued patch on some garment.

This quilt I bought off Ebay for less than twenty clams. Look how amazing it is. It’s double-sided with no batting, all handstitched. Here are some of my favorite squares.

Amazing. One strip hasn’t been sewn on fully but that’ll get fixed eazy peazy. Looking at this makes the taxes burn a little less.

What a great find for only $20! The topstitiching really adds to the overall effect. Thanks for sharing!

Sort of related… I heard this story on NPR yesterday all about a “solo triangle” record. That’s right… only triangle. Crazy, eh? Triangles rock!

Solo triangle album? That’s awesome!! I had to find it, here’s the link to the NPR piece. It’s an album called Christine Balfa Plays the Triangle and is so freaky cool. Thanks Carrie!

That quilt is amazing! I love the fabrics and workmanship–what a score! I haven’t quite fallen for triangles, squares are still my thing. Maybe triangles are next.

I can’t believe this was under $20! What an amazing little treasure! I make quilts (although not by hand) and I think I would have a heart attack if I found something so fancy :)
