It’s not exactly glamorous.
I imagine my behind-the-scenes life/studio/process to be much more glamorous than it is. Frankly, it’s not and it never will be and I don’t really want it though it looks cool in magazines. I decided I am no longer in love with my website design. It was bound to happen, only a matter of time really. Two years later and the paint is starting to chip, so I’m working on a new design. That’s right, me, I am. It may prove fatal but I think I can do it. And I’m pushing for something in about 2 weeks. I was going to wait to launch in January but I’m not sure I can wait.
This all means to you, needing to retake a lot of product images and this how-to by Strobist is just what I needed. The greatest little tutorial for how to make your own macro photo studio. I had all the stuff on hand so it was cheaper than dirt. I’ll be looking at this quite a bit for a while. It’s not fancy, but it does work.

I tried it outside and in the end I like it better with artificial lighting. But I’m excited, just what I needed.
