Setting things about.

This house and neighborhood feels a bit like we’re in the mountains. I love it. Still feels like we might be on vacation though. I was gifted a hanging light from Heliotrope and love it. More photos of the studio coming. And to anyone who might be moving around here, big shout out to Your Extra Hands who helped us unload our U-Haul. They were awesome, truly. Can’t say enough nice things about them.

While we’re unpacking and setting things about, I’m wondering if this house needs some WPA reproduction posters from the Library of Congress Zazzle shop, my favorites are below. I’m very curious as to the quality.

Are those hanging from the doorknob colored tape, my daughter has the exact same thing hanging from her doorknob.

That first photo is gorgeous. And so happy to learn about the LOC shop–might have to go browse there myself!

Lovely to see you settling in! Those WPA posters are RAD! I wish someone could attest to the quality.

Hello~
I have been following your blog for quite a while now, but have not yet commented (sorry about that!). I found it via another blog a while back and looked through it (your about section, flickr, press, etc.). I realized that you contributed to a book (Snail Mail) that I had just put on my ‘to buy’ list… and that some of your products were available at one of my favorite stores (Fred Flare). Then, after I got my own blog up and running, I posted about this store- and the many purchases that I have made there. In doing so, I discovered that you created “The Small Object Labels and Stickers” which I had given my son this past Christmas! It is very cool to learn more about you and your products via your blog.
Congratulations on your move!! Hope it feels like HOME soon.

There’s an etsy shop that prints WPA posters, roosevelvet. Also awesome national parks WPA posters at http://rangerdoug.com/store/posters/index.html . Silk-screened I think. I haven’t purchased, but am planning to.

I love your COFFEE tea towel!
Incidentally, I was just going through some archive posts from Inchmark, and there was a post about WPA posters. I love the graphics on that last one, “Let them grow.” It could be mounted on a piece of wood, protected with a glaze, and placed outside in a garden. So pretty!

It’s so nice to see you settling in! Atlanta seems like a spectacular place to get all crafty-like so I’m sure you ladies will be happy :) I think a syphilis poster in the bathroom would work better than a handwashing reminder.

Ha! The syphilis poster made me remember the “zap the clap” tshirt!
I'm curious about your two cents. You smart cookie!
