A Steno Pad for My Thoughts

The battle is on. Last day, last download…and I’m bringing us back. Here is an updated version of the thumb wrestling belts including my super secret never lose another game tip. Seriously, not to toot my own horn, but I’m good. And whether its because I’m the only one who takes the game as serious as a heart attack is debatable, but this is one sport in which I excel.

Click here to download the Adobe pdf file. Here they are hanging out, ready for the taking. And while we’re on the subject of thumb battles, the most lovely Thumb War Battle of 1496 is in my hot little hands and it looks so great!! I’m extremely excited (things haven’t been letting me down lately thankfully!!) and if I wasn’t trying to run out the door to get to Savannah for the craft fair this weekend, I’d spout on and on and one. But just look…

Ahhh…looking good. And the detail is amazing, can you even tell it’s not drawn right on there? And look at that the horizon line made with a single thread strand…doesn’t it look so real? They’re beautiful.

Available on Monday in the shop. They are printed in a limited edition of 30 (but to be fair, I’m keeping one so there will be 29 for the taking). Happy weekend!!

Thumb wars.. I was pretty good, I had some nice strategies going. I do remember, though, that my brother and I would often have stalemates and no one would win for quite some time until we got bored..

You already know that I am the leader of your TX-based fan club, but did you know that I, too, have the exact same riotously colored tin box?! It was my mother’s and we’ve all had this odd attraction to it, wondering where it came from and what it may have been created for. Any ideas?

I love thumb print art. I came across this technique teaching a kindergarten class years ago. You can do so many creative things with just your thumbprint and a few marks with a pencil. Thanks for sharing your warriors with us!
Happy Stamping, Dana

I teach 6th grade, and let me tell you the thumbwrestling belts have been a HUGE hit with my students! We have used them at lunch having massive thumbwrestling wars trying to decide which of us is the better thumbwrestler, and some of us have even tried desperately to get the cheater-cheater pumpkin eater belt… We are very thankful for your wonderful little thumb belts!
