The following is an excerpt of a post from The Small Object blog originally hosted over on Blogger that has since been deleted. This post was originally published in February 2006.
“We moved on to making paper valentines for the parents + grandparents, plus one for me. Hardly seems fair to leave me out..

I just cut out paper cirlces and had the kids decorate them. We used doublestick tape and a second circle on the back to make each one like one big crepe paper sandwich. (And we just used the crepe paper streamers for this.)

I love crepe paper ruffles very much. We also made potato stamps and romaine heart rose stamps but they’re drying at my mother’s house so pics coming. Here’s to hoping you all have a great day, either ignoring the forced romantic thoughts or making up your own.”

I’m so glad you reposted this entry; this is a wonderful valentine idea and now I can get cracking on all the crepe paper streamers I have left from birthday/holiday parties!
